Paleo Diet Primer
Are you new to the paleo diet? Here are some quick facts:
- The principle motto is, “If a caveman didn’t eat it, neither should you”
- Paleo eaters avoid grains, legumes, sugar, dairy and processed foods
- They do eat vegetables, grass-fed meat, seafood, eggs, fruit, nuts like almonds, coconut, almond and olive oils, and tubers
Popular (and delicious) paleo substitutes for wheat flour include almond flour, coconut flour and cassava flour. However, having a multi-purpose flour blend on hand makes it easy to try that paleo banana bread recipe you’ve been eyeing!
At Bob’s Red Mill, we offer an entire line of paleo-friendly food, including our Paleo Baking Mix, Paleo Style Muesli, Almond and Coconut flours, seeds and more. Explore our entire line now!
Good things come to those who bake: DO NOT EAT RAW DOUGH OR BATTER.
